Guilliman will go into the eye of terror and save Russ and give him some Primaris My eye is twitching like no tomorrow, if I were an anime character, there would be a big cross on my temple signifying my bursting veins. The one thing I agree is to leave Ghazkull and the Orks for Yarrick and the Black templars. @ Gederas and Firewalker - Point taken, apologies, wasn't aware there was another renegade warband also called Knights of Blood which are not related to the Blood Angels. greysquigg
I think he's going to fly out of the warp on an 8 legged horse made of wulfen. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/347247-a-fitting-return-for-russ/page/3/#findComment-5110428 Share on other sites
Kasper_Hawser
I think he's going to fly out of the warp on an 8 legged horse made of wulfen. was that a reference to Sleipnir, the horse of Odin? Or were you just trying to get my goat? :P Dunno why some anime and stories refer to Sleipnir as a multi legged horse. Then again, Thor rides a chariot towed by goats.... Leif Bearclaw
Dunno why some anime and stories refer to Sleipnir as a multi legged horse. Because Sleipnir was an eight legged horse? That's the case in every version of Norse mythology I have read (even wikipedia agrees). TiguriusX
I am not familiar with norse mythology but I love when everyone chimes in with new takes on things. The tree of life and a collaboration with eldar and saving Isha from Nurgle seems like an amazing arc I would support. PeteySödes
Without Spoiling anything, Wolfsbane borrows heeeeeeaaavily from the old norse stories. greysquigg
Without Spoiling anything, Wolfsbane borrows heeeeeeaaavily from the old norse stories. Yes definitely. There is so much outside of 40k that borrows from it too. If anyone wants to dip their toes into Norse Mythology I can recommend the Neil Gaiman re telling of it. Some of the Story could easily be translated into 40k Space Marine "Sagas" retold in the Fang. For anyone that lacks Motivation or is distrustful of GW Fluff, read it. (Additional benefit for Marvel Fans - You will see Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston in your head, banterig, provoking each other and scheming. ...or Thor weeping, thinking about his beloved Mjolnir.)
