Imperial Knight: Regimental Standard

I mean, surely this means a preview of imperial knights on sunday?

EDIT: Also, what type of knight is that? The weapon seems to be a new one. And it has a wolf on the shield, which harkens back to the wolf rumours. Is this the new character that was talked about?

Indeed, the spear weapon looks similar to the lascutter on the Atrapos.

Canis Rex does translate to Wolf King so that fits with the rumors from Spikey Bits. Helps me to to believe the stated timeline of "by the second week of June" too. Preview this week and probably a two week release between the 2nd -9th.

Yeah, I have to agree. That looks an awful lot like the Lascutter to me too...

Making the unque character a freeblade makes sense beacuse any army could conceivably use him. I wonder if that is the spear of the valiant though, or if he has some special wargear..

Anyways, dangerous levels of hype now

It sounded like the Valiant was a different chassis from the standard Knight. That's certainly a standard Knight Chassis in the image... Just with a very interesting weapon.

Herminista? Can you illuminate us any further on the Valiant?

They better not nerf my Lascutter, but Emperor save the Heretic and the Xenos alike if they buff it!

We Heretics say you best look to your corpse-god, and we'll see you on the field! ;P

In all seriousness, that'd be great to see something of a cross over from the FW Knights. Especially if it came with some rules tuning :biggrin.:

At this point, you've had everything I know, lol. But just to reiterate

Source one -

told me there were 2 Armigers in forgebane

There was a new bigger knight with loads of guns

There was a character type knight with a "plasma gun thingy" and some kind of lance (I could fully see that being the harpoon gun we saw, but that's my conjecture)

Source 2 - the Managers release sheet I saw

Had on it

Armiger

Castellan

Hellverin (I'm sure it was hellverin not Helliger now)

Valiant

On it

And then Imperial Knight:Renegade a few lines below.

They better not nerf my Lascutter, but Emperor save the Heretic and the Xenos alike if they buff it!

Agreed, I'm really hoping for a sizable FAQ to the Imperial Armor after the codex release. The last Imperial Armor FAQ was conspicuously lacking knight updates.

Well this does look like the questoris chassis and I'm guessing that weapon is basically the lascutter (or exactly that). At least in the sense that it also works in shooting. I wonder if the valiant lance is only close combat and the harpoon is the ranged capability..?

Unless the valiant is the character and the lance is in the Castellan set as an alt build.

Source is being tight lipped, mainly because he knows I'm so keen for this

Do some reverse psychology! Call up the source and tell them, no matter what, not to divulge anything to you :)
