Albator
Albator I just luv your EC Lord :) , great use of contrasting colours. 1 query though where did you get the torso for the model? ;) :cuss Thanks ! I took this idea from Commander Y's sorcerer. It is the torso from a WFB 5th edition ungor skirmisher musician. Sagiedaks
hooooooooooooooooooooooooly :) man that is good and may i ask what u used for the scythe blade part of the scythe (i think thats right) it looks megga cool Sagiedaks Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/34761-colors-of-the-powers/page/2/#findComment-375073 Share on other sites
diggie
Sagiedaks: the blade was made out of a bit of plasticard. I simply traced the online on the card, carefully cut it out and literally "sharpened" the edge of the blade with a modelling knife by scraping it down. This was then glued to the stick and I later sculpted the bit around the stick with greenstuff. Thanks for your remarks all. This motivates me a lot. The Angelus Sanctus
Ok, i did some snaps a few hours ago and updated my pic directory a lil bit, but i totally forgot to re-name some of the older files in there (change the spaces to underscores). However, got some pics of finished models, a few WIP models (My Lt and Sorcerer) and a few prototype stuff... Unfortunately its all still being taken with a webcam, although these pics look a lil better than my other pics. Slaanesh Image Directory Highlights in the collection, i guess would be the WIP Male Daemonette Male Daemonettes Recent Anfelus work: Lt Anfelus Unnamed Sorcerer: Sorcerer WIP Mah (i think) best mini at the moment is my Female AC (you should see the previous pic of her, major changes since then). Enjoy! http://www.finalsanctuary.com/images/Slaanesh/Marines/Wrath%20Squad/AC/09.03.04/AC_Front.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/34761-colors-of-the-powers/page/2/#findComment-375487 Share on other sites
Mister Dan
Well for most of my troops I have gone for black with pastel trims, pink running throughout the army and blue and purple is used to differentiate between squads. My Noise Marines on the other hand are 'old school' and very much as described in the codex, and that's just really mad clashing colours, and animal prints etc, it's time consuming but if done well can look fantastic. I did have a few disasters but I've got the method right now. Only problem is the army probably won't be painted till 2026...LOL Black and pink for noise marines just doesn't seem to fit the imagery in my opinion, any bit of fluff you read regarding NM and the colour scheme is described as absolutely mental, psychedelic patterns.
