Just out of interest Diggie, how do you achieve that wonderful pus-ridden green?

It's a colorscheme I literally copied from WD, and it works nicely. Here's the breakdown:

1: Undercoat the model with Bleached Bone

2: Give it a royal Black Ink wash (or two; just make sure it shades properly)

3: Dark Green Ink wash

4: Overbrush with Rotting Flesh for the highlights (doesn't have to be neat)

5: Apply sickly patches with brown, purple, green and Chestnut inks.

I used this scheme on all green models in the photos.

My digital camera doesn't have good enough resolution to take pictures of my force- in- progress (or a host to place them on), but here's the colors I'm using:

Basecoat: Black spray primer

Chaos Space Marines

Armor plates: skull white undercoat, with a glaze of purple ink over it

Armor trim: dwarf bronze, replaced with shining gold for characters.

Sonic Blasters: drybrushed with boltgun metal.

Hair features: yellow ink

Skulls (wherever they appear): drybrush Codex Grey.

Daemonettes

Drybrush undercoat of elf flesh, then glaze the claws and nails with purple ink. Paint the teeth white, and the eyes scab red.

The clothes are the variable part, green ink for the first pack. I'm not sure what for the second, probably magenta.

Wow that is awesome "diggie"!!! Are you sure it was that easy? 'Cause I'm gonna do some Plague Daemons and zombies/gifted IG that way for my LatD army. I already have about 60-70 painted and I'm looking for a rag-tag group of soldiers to better represent the way LatD armies are formed. My Greater Daemon is in the mail as I write and he and 3 Aspiring Champions of Nurgle are leading my army.

I am pretty sure i cannot match you other guys paintingskills, but here's my stuff:

one of my noisemakers, an old noisemarine with sonic blaster (now used as blastmaster because i use converted sonic blasters that are smaller, i enjoy using these guys as veteran heavy weapon troopers.)

he has an new (plastic) "beak" helmet, his weapon is painted in loads of different colors, but the armor is pink 'n' black based. (i am going to fix the color of the helmet, blue didn't suit him well...)

you'll have to accept the poor quality of a webcam, i'll probably post future pictures with digi-cam.

another of my noisemakers, a female marine based on a dark eldar wych succubus,

i don't like the succubus' pose very much so i just had to change it!

i gave her marine legs, and i'm about to decide what weaponry she will wield.

<UNFINISHED MODEL, of course :lol:>

i'm lookig forward to response, and i promise to post better quality images soon! ^_^
