Claws and Effect
I'm leaning toward a Land Raider Achilles AND a Leviathan. Add in a couple quad launcher Rapier Carriers and you've got an imposing fire base that doesn't care about line of sight, and can lay a hurting on anything stupid enough to come within 24". Sea Reaper
I think the corvus blackstar is a centrepiece in its own right. They look really good on the table top and usually end up getting focus fired due to being a big, imposing model. I also have a DW leviathan dread which is my centrepiece I don't know what the general opinion is, but I think the Corvus Blackstar is the absolute coolest looking flyer in the game. Since I've been away from the game for many editions, why does everyone love the Leviathan dread so much? I saw a picture and it certainly looks cool, I just have no idea what it's capable of. Honest question, I know nothing of this hallowed chasis. Moostick
Corvus does look cool, but it's just very average to below average on the tabletop. Leviathan has good firepower (potentially 20 S7, 2D shots), good defense (T8, 2+, 4++), and can deepstrike for 1 CP. It's a solid unit and its cost is fairly reasonable for what it brings. I personally prefer to just bring a deredeo or contemptor though. No reason other than because I like them more.
