Dreadnought under-slung weapon choices

I'm after some tactical/modelling advice.

A rummage through my spare sprues box turned up a bunch of unassembled dreadnought arms. I also have three dreads built - a twin twin autocannon (whose arms are glued on), an ironclad and a regular (both with push-fit arms, so I can swap things around).

As it stands, the ironclad has a fist (with flamer) and a siege hammer (with flamer), and the regular has a multi-melta and power fist (with storm bolter). Amongst the unbuilt arms, there's a chainfist and a power fist, and one each of under-slung flamer and storm bolter.

Which leads into my question...

Do I repeat my current set-up, and put together another power fist/storm bolter combination, and another under-slung flamer on the chainfist for the ironclad (so he'd have a pair of flamers whenever he goes double close combat weapons)?

Or do I vary things, and stick the bolter on the chainfist and the flamer on the powerfist?

(Once the rest of the arms are put together, I'll also have a lascannon, assault cannon, launcher and hurricane to play with.)

It's hardly the deepest of tactical conundrums, but I'd be interested to hear anyone's thoughts.

This is true. Which is a shame, because I quite liked the idea of a melta on the regular dreadnought for a bit of extra punch.

So in the end, I'm going to add a flamer to the power fist (giving me the option of using a fist with either a flamer or a storm bolter), and the melta to the chainfist (like WarriorFish says, variety; and it'll double up as a flamer in a pinch anyway).

Thanks for all the thoughts and pointers.

With tiny options like this, I will always recommend magnets. It's a bit difficult in this case as the weapon connects at the seam where the arm segments meet, but not too difficult.

This, magnets are an amazing tool stuff like this so that you'll never be unprepared
