allfatherstudios
As the title suggests. How do I achieve the warpaint effect bellow. I want to paint up some blood letters this way. Never been great with pale skin. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/347684-war-paint-help/ Share on other sites
Ahistorian
I would recommend Rakarth as a base, with soft washes of Druchii purple and Agrax. Pale Wych over the top will give you a nice pale skin tone. As for the tattoos, I reckon Blood For the Blood God should be perfect if you shake it thoroughly before starting. Was looking for a tutorial on war paint. Also is that all GW / citadel paint? Redking
Here's a couple of tutorials: @Ahistorian's tips are all great. The paints he recommends are all Citadel. If you choose to use Blood for the Blood God, then I would recommend thinning slightly to help you make better designs. If you don't want the wet, bloody look then try Khorne Red highlighted with Evil Sun Scarlet.
