Panzer Posted June 1, 2018 Share Posted June 1, 2018 The Intercessors really weren't what we were talking about lol It's things like Deathcompany with 6 Thunderhammers and Vanguard Vets fully equipped with Thunderhammers and Stormshields what you wouldn't see in proper competitive lists since those are rather easy to take out, cost a lot of point, are overkill against anything that isn't something like a knight list and leave you with no means to fight against hordes properly. ^^ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The Sicaran Venator is an absolute beast for anti tank. 230 pts with lascannon sponsons, its main gun is heavy 3 S12 AP-4 D6 damage, if the enemy is a vehicle and Is damaged by it, that vehicle suffers -1 to hit in its shooting phase. You knock a knight down a profile with the help of the Venator and the knight now shoots on 5s and 6s. Best of all it has a 14" move and ignores heavy weapon move penalty, so it is extremely mobile and can deploy hidden out of LOS then roll into position.
