DG painting question

Let me start by saying I have been in and out of the hobby for a long time, since 4th ed. I believe.  I mostly paint and play only a handful of games.  Well I'm gonna jump back in and play as DG army.

Now my question, I really like the Pallid Hand and the Tainted Sons Vectorums.  I have painted a few minis up (not totally done) and I can't decide which I like better. Do I have to choose?  Can I combine the two?  Some guys are Tainted sons green and some are Pallid Hand off white.

Thanks

As a note, give some thought about how you organize squads and make your army look cohesive.  You could have them as whole squads of each warband, or you could have mixed squads where the two warbands are mixed together.  If you go the latter route, think of what unit symbols or colour accents you could use to make it look like one unit.

If you go seperate squads, that's less of a problem, and the colour schemes are likely complementary  enough that they will look good together on the table.  Still, think of colour accents (power weapon, tabard, plasma weapon, etc) that you can do on both warbands to tie them together into looking like one army, rather than 2 different ones that just happen to be standing next to each other.

I personally have a dirty off-white with green trim for the majotiry of my force, then I have some black\blue with orange trim sprinkled randomly.

I feel its very deathguard / chaos-y to incorporate element from depleted force overtime with no real structure to it.

I get the feel DG plague marine have a lose cohesion, organicly forming and breaking units on the battlefield as the situation requires.
