Holstered Chainsword

I wanna holster a chainsword on my stalker bolted squad, but dont have an idea where to place it at on his body. Can't find references anywhere. Do you guys have any idea how they would to shoot with both hands?

Look at the MkIII plastic kit. The chainswords are meant to go on the back below the backpack. Basically on the butt armour. Something like that would probably work.

For non-mkIII legs, on the leg also works. I'm at work and can't linkypinky, but my True Scale Heresy Dark Angels have them on the legs.

I've found the marine Chainswords are very long to hang on marines.

 

So when I want a Chainswords not in hand I use guard sized chainswords, or even chain fist blades. And I shave the attached part thinner so they sit much closer along the body.

 

A bit like how the holstered pistols are much smaller than a bolt pistol in hand. Power swords sheathes are also much smaller than the blades they're supposed to hold.

 

I also find the grips tricky, they stick half way up the torso. So again I shrink the grip, and even bend it into the body so it fits lower and closer.

hmm good call, not to mention I had a fair amount of each marine and am chainswords. but didnt want to destroy the marine ones
