Spear of Achilles
Working on some Raven Guard for a friend; I sprayed Raven color from Minitair paint line over most of the models...it's super dark grey-black...then I used Nautilus Green which is a blue-grey green for highlights followed by Vallejo Sober Grey. The shine is from Minitair paints, which I'll eventually knock back with a dull-coat...their first-run several years ago had a glossing problem but I hear that's been fixed.. Miles to go (edging, highlights, decals and all that silliness) but I like the blend of colors. Once these are done, it's on to Hellblasters and Scouts. Ultramarine vet
Great looking models! Love the touch you put on it, I need to do something similar. Every time I paint a black model, they just don't look finished. Just a very dull and dark black. Lol. Keep up the great work! Bjorn Firewalker
Your black is very vibrant. You're making good progress on these models; I hope to see them completed soon.
