'Native American' Mechanicum?

Recommended Posts

So playing through 'Horizon Zero Dawn', great game btw, and just got the Renegade Box Set. Debating on doing Mechanicum allied in and was looking at something unique to do and, while playing 'Horizon', thought it would be cool to do two different things:

One, a Mechanicum army with some Native American flair

Or....

Two, full-fledged Native American Guard army thing that worships the Knights.

Regardless the Question comes to this: Anyone seen any conversion bits for making Native American Imperial Guard or just Native American bits in general?

Looking for help/ideas. Thanks!

This is so weird. I was just thinking of a feasible space marine chapter based off of Native Americans. Anyway, as far as potential models go, I think you're looking for something like this.

Or maybe this.

I'd personally suggest buying the first one, buying a good amount of catachans, using a fair amount of greenstuff, and playing them as a "counts as" catachan regiment. With that said, the second one is less expensive, so I could see you buying them and potentially using them as a sort of scout unit (since they're more lightly armored).

A loooong time ago, there was a Deathwing short story about a hulk that crashed on their native american style recruiting world (in the deathwing expansion to 1st ed space hulk IIRC) it was the reason for the feathers and totems and deathwing being painted white, though it's long since disappeared from current fluff. It's a good read, if you can find a copy. I think it's in this anthology.

Anyway, not much help for bits, but it does provide fluff support for native american tribal troops in 40k.
