bluntblade
I'm guessing the Armigers will have been since the Age of Strife, but haven't seen anything to confirm it. Does anyone know for certain? Stray
They almost certainly have, yeah. No official rules yet, but there are a few reasonable 'home made' 30k Armiger rules kicking about online. The fact that Renegade Armigers now exist virtually confirms that they are as old as the other Knight chassis. Tyriks
Yeah they have been used to train pilots at least for as long as Knights have existed. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/348452-armigers-in-30k/#findComment-5111809 Share on other sites
jeffersonian000
In a one for one comparison between 8e and 7e stats, Armigers are functionally Space Marine Dreadnoughts with an Ion Shield, faster movement, and better weapon options. The 8e weapon stats translate almost straight over with only minor adjustment. Charlo
Considering the plastic Knights forced a book from FW before I can see it happening again. May include them in the book after Malevolence. Tyr13
The answer is: Yup. GW just posted something about knights during the Heresy on WarCom. So yeah, rules are on their way - as are additional patterns. https://www.warhammer-community.com/2018/06/25/25th-june-new-forge-world-knight-rules-and-patternsgw-homepage-post-2fw-homepage-post-1/ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/348452-armigers-in-30k/#findComment-5112460 Share on other sites
