So about a month ago I decided I wanted a Guard Battery

My Vostroyan Infantry has been given to one of the guys who works for me to bring him into the game. 

I kept my tanks

And I  still want to play guard .... 

But I need something that will match the Solar Aux Aesthetic ....

I'll say this, those certainly match the SA aesthetic.

So  the good thing is  I  have all my tanks/artillery still  ( and all my scions )  and while  the artillery tanks still needed some paint, It means right now I can focus entirely on infantry 












Everything for the new project laid out. This is going to give me everything I need for

 

4 infantry squads

 

1 command squad

 

1 master of ordinance

 

1 Compant Commander ( Salem )

 

10 plasma gunners

 

10 completely useless power axe dudes ( who will look dope )

 

3 bullgryns

 

3 mortar teams ( or quad launchers )

 

Now I just need to get most of it assembled and put on these resin bases. Then the real fun of the priming can begin

Those Bullgryns look huge even on the larger base.

Chugging right along, planning on doing a gunmetal armor plating, eshin grey  gloves and boots   with one green marked shoulder guard  same gold trim that I  used on  the  firstborn 

Basically giving a similar scheme to the firstborn so they match the tanks, but not doing brown armor plating cause I like the idea of gunmetal armor plating t since its reminiscent of knights

Awesome stuff, love me some Solar Auxilia - one day I will paint my Storm Section but white is a scary colour with all the extra detail they have on them!

Moving some models into phase 2 which is picking out the armor plates. The hope is that I can get about 5 done a day until the entire infantry project is in phase 2.

 

Need to heat and bend a bunch of the las rifles which is why they aren’t in phase 1 yet.

 

This project is proving pretty fun so far. 

Strongly considering investing in a zone mortalis board as well but that’s mostly dependent on tax return XD

These guys look amazing! Your earthly colours do them wonders, much better than the GW bright colourscheme. Very gritty indeed! :)

Thanks, I like darker colors as evidence by the vostroyans  and the slight tweak to their scheme for te solar aux.
