Bjorn Firewalker
Good job. Are the "White Scorpions" a Chapter you created, or a canon one? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/348604-orange-primaris-marines/#findComment-5115923 Share on other sites

Quixus
ha ha the first model you posted is an obviously black chaplain. Very little orange there. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/348604-orange-primaris-marines/#findComment-5116021 Share on other sites
Brother Cambrius
Huzzah more homegrown chapters! Any history in these ones? Can't wait to see the next models with their orange heraldry displayed in full as well. I'm sure the esteemed Kurgan will gladly accept them into the Cult of Orange. The paint job is really smooth too along with the fine detailing of the texts. Here's to seeing more of the White Scorprions! <EDIT> I just noticed the iron halo on the back pack needs a little heat bending back up, seems to be flopping down over his head. Brother Cambrius
I believe that is how it comes in the package Cambrius. How odd, I might have to convert mine when I get one to fix it up. Along with adding some spiky stuff to the skulled pimp cane of Chaplaincy. Cambrius Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/348604-orange-primaris-marines/#findComment-5117473 Share on other sites

Brother Tyler
Quick question before i upload new pics, how do i get them to show up larger on the screen? I know i have to go to gallery and then size but then what? You're currently using the sharedmedia code. You'll have to use the image code in order to get the larger versions, and you'll need the image URLs for that to work effectively: BBCode User's Guide (linked to image tag instructions) [sharedmedia=gallery:images:238429] vs. [img=http://bolterandchainsword.com/uploads/gallery/album_9211/gallery_23169_9211_159322.jpg] All you have to do is view the image (or the smaller size, if you want something less than full size). Make sure that you're viewing the image itself and not its gallery page. Copy the image URL for use with the BBCode. Counterpoint: the benefit in what you're currently doing with the sharedmedia BBCode is that it takes less time to load the image and viewers simply have to click on image that they would like to see in full size. Ratboy1664
I have always wanted to play a small squad based version of 40k, and then they released Kill Team and I have the manual in my grubby little hands right now. So being half way through building a squad of primaris marines I stopped and have now built a 5 man White Scorpion kill team. I see the White Scorpions as a brand new chapter of all primaris marines, recruited from Terra with Imperial Fist gene seed. The kill team missions will be the new chapter being tested by the imperium before being given bigger missions. So here is my sergeant, Sergeant Mirue. He is wysiwyg and looking brand new, well because he is! Let me know what you think please. Ratboy1664
@Quixus Yep, and they are the reason for the choice of name and symbol for my chapter So I painted my first piece of terrain yesterday. I went for dull grey as i thought that would be the standard imperial colour and it also makes the orange on my marines really pop. The radiator I have tried to make like a gloss white paint, the kind that you always find in old government buildings etc. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/348604-orange-primaris-marines/#findComment-5132847 Share on other sites

I then heavily wash with fuegan orange before building up many layers of troll slayer orange until i get a nice smooth bright finish, then i edge highlight with fire dragon bright.
