Tzen
This has been a a bit of a trial to paint. It's such a classic mini, and it's an amazing sculpt. But the fact that it is in metal meant I struggled with it. I know some people who love their metal models, but I definitely prefer plastic! http://www.golden-throne.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/azraeldone1.jpg http://www.golden-throne.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/azraeldone2.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/348654-azrael-chapter-master-of-the-dark-angels/ Share on other sites
Major_Gilbear
You've done a lovely job with it nonetheless - well done! :D (I also think that the real issue is more that the metal model moulds are rather more worn than when they first spun. I have some models from my youth that I bought on release, and comparing them to models bought much more recently, it's clear there's been rather significant mould wear). Ranulf
Fantastic work Tzen, clean and smooth transitions with crisp highlighting, love it. You took me back to the 90's with the rush of nostalgia. -Ran Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/348654-azrael-chapter-master-of-the-dark-angels/#findComment-5120813 Share on other sites
PeteySödes
Awesome work! I think I painted one of these for a friend like 15 years ago. Always loved the helm bearer too, such a cool model.
