Charlo
Anyone ever run it? For those that need a reminder... Rite of War: Hunter-Killer Mission Masters of the Hunt: Recon squads lose the 'Support Squad' rule and Seekers become non-compulsory Troops. Run them Down: Gains an extra VP for wiping out an enemy unit, or D3 VPs if the enemy was Sweep Advanced. Jaws of the Trap: When outflanking, rolling a 6 lets you choose any table edge to deploy that unit from, even the opposing player's table edge. Traitors only. The Warlord must be an Emperor's Children The army must contain units from at least two different legions. The army can't earn VPs from controlling either objective markers, terrain or areas of the table Seems like a good challenge for a game and a fun way to turn an event on it's head with a nice narrative spin. Any tips/ tricks for it? The way I see it EC + SoH could be a pretty winning combination, with ECs bonuses to sweeping and the SoH Death Dealer making short range firepower very strong. Then you can fill out troops with blobs of World Eaters to reap the whirlwind, Iron Warriors bring some firepower or NL can pull some reserve shenanigans. Pick EC +2 more! While not much in the way of bonuses, having ever game just be "kill or be killed" could be rather fun!
