Thanks alot guys! Been busy with my Dark angels legion, prepping for the HH book, finaly!

 

Im using tamiya black panel liner oil as an all over wash and After dry for like 15 mins i use a brush and White spirits to remove where light would hit.

 

As for the armour: Im using a really simple Light Grey zenital Airbrush over black primer, leaving Dark where shadows would be, inner side of legs, under arms etc. Then a spot highlight of pure white. Next is all the other colours painted in including markings and transfers. -> satin varnish and the above step of using tamiya black liner oil :)

 

Its simple as hell

Also, Johanhgg confirmed as an American.  He painted Anzuq as a Bald Eagle.  

 

Could you post a few shots of the entire army?  Also what is your work rate like?  Seems like one could produce these guys fairly quickly... assuming we all knew what we were doing with regards to weathering.

I've got a bottle of Mr. Hobby soft body black.. and these pictures are tempting me to take that bottle and just dump it all over my white scars.  

 

I really like that you aren't waiting for the oil wash to dry... pure gangster photos with live wash on the model no varnish.   Almost makes me feel like part of the painting process!

Haha busted!  You had a bit of spider webbing on the bottom biker.... to the left of his leg on the bike armour.  I hate it when I do that :( 

 

Did you prime grey and spray white over it or some sort of offwhite?

Are you using tape or free hand for the markings?  I cant tell.  

 

IMO it is too good to be pure free hand but not perfect enough to be airbrushed with tape.  What is your secret?

Thanks bro! No, we’re starting a narrative crusade campaign so first fight is like 50 PL ~ 1000 p so only 2 squads of assault intercessors, khan on bike, 5 reivers, 6 man bike squad and an outrider-squad :) and 4 inceptors
