True Scale World Eaters - 33rd Planetary Assault Segment

Second True Scale project of mine. Sadly i dont have perfect close ups for now. Only few from my game week / two ago. 


DG Stole the initiative and managed to destroy both Land Raiders at the start. 



Lascannons are Devastating....



Left flank with all failed charges




A squad of Heavy Flamers was hiding at the ruins and ensured my devastation at the left flank.



Then the few close ups

 

 

My only Victory was at the middle where Red Butchers "butchered" everything....

Upcoming MK5 conversions. Im really lazy doing those studs....








Battle was lost - two Legionaries from tactical team were thinking of getting away....

I'm envious that you guys get to have these great games. You minis look great and those look like some nail biting moments in game.

 

I went looking through your history as saw your TS. Those are excellent!

 

Now aside from the mk5 marines you are building what else do you have coming up?

Yeah Thousand Sons are my first project. I change between these two projects from time to time. Mostly when one squad if complete. 

Mk5 Marines are actually done now :D My camera is sooooo bad that i dont dare to share any results for now. I hope i can share them soon.

Upcoming next are 10x Mk3 Veterans with 5x combi-meltas.

Maybe one (1) more land raider for World Eaters. Then i would have three (3) in total.

Nice! That is something I had been wanting for a long while. Three land raiders loaded to the brim with World Eaters. I'm closest as I will be to that dream with two land raiders with berzerkers. Soon they will be painted black. But I just love the visual of those armored beasts just grinding their way through a battlefield to disgorge marines who are ever anxious to rip and tear their foes.

 

Looking forward to the upcoming marines as well! Excited to see some true scale mark3 armor in XII colors!

Spartan is actually salvaged on some level. You probably noticed that the front ramp or the whole "nose part" is smaller than it should be. Nothing what a piece of plasticard cant fix..

Haha, I can't even tell! You did good with that! Salvage jobs are my favorite though. Take something that's been beaten down or broken and fix them up for the tabletop.

 

And if you can't fix it...it becomes sweet terrain!

Grieux - they are not Indomitus chests. They are Tartaros Terminator torsos + mk4 torso backpart. Add a bit of gs and its smooooth ride.

Nice praetor. And you have some IA/SA? I am looking forward to seeing that for 30k. That's honestly not something I see much of in the HH setting since Legions get all the glory.

Veterans coming up next. Decals and weathering is to be last so this is kind still WIP

hushrong - yeah i got some IA / SA bit of a mixed. Tanks can be used on both sides but i have grenadies made from Genestealer Neohnytes + Ad Mech Skitariis. So those could pass as a SOlar Auxilia Lasrifle sections easily.

Good sense of weight to the MKIII vets. Looks like a fun game at the top of the thread.

Those vets are looking good. I love all of those bronze helms.

 

Are you building the Grenadiers from the new KT box sprues? I had thought about turning the GSC guys into guardsmen and the skitarii for Dark Mechanicum. I think sprinkling in some bits from the imperial guard line would make for some unique SA. When you get one together please post it!

Because i made Destroyers for my 1k Sons - World Eaters Need their Own.

Made five of these really quickly - not that proud of them. But will do for now. Im really just using all the spare parts that have i have gathered around cos " they look cool and i might use them" It took like 5 years to finally start doing these so..... Just hope these are done at some point :D
