Do you now allocate multi hit weapons to each model in range? How does the Hellfire work now, is it mortal wounds spread or do you have to allocate to a single model? Ill need to look at the whole book when I get it but I think with the reduced models in this game, the high strength weapons are a little wasted, so the Heavy Bolter is better at range than the frag cannon but Dam does the Frag cannon just destroy the heavy flamer at 8".

You fire the Hellfire round once, at one unit. If you hit, you inflict 1-3 mortal wounds. Since mortal wounds are applied one at a time, you could possibly kill three models in a unit (provided they are 1 wound each). Regualr multi-wound weapons are resolved model by model, so the poor model that takes the melta shot is eating all 1-6 wounds it gives. He dead or really really dead.

I like to have a heavy bolter with my stalker vets, range is nearly equal, and the opportunity to use it for the Hell Fire Round stratagem.

Frag cannons are for my close up squads, like the storm bolter squad and my choppy squad. Any squad I can see getting in close will usually take one frag cannon.

Different weapons for different roles.
