HighMarshalAmp
If I had an arm with a weapon and wanted to separate it into an arm and a weapon, what would be the safest way to get a clean cut? PeteySödes
This is what I use: https://www.amazon.com/Xacto-X75300-Precision-Razor-Saw/dp/B00004Z2U4 Won’t pucker the plastic where you’re cutting and is super thin so minimal loss. hushrong
Those saws are great. I can't remember if I bought one at a Michaels or something similar. I don't think you will beat that amazon cost though. Depending on the bit I will I just carefully use a xacto knife. KhorneHunter57x
And no matter the tool you use, go slow and have patience. Don't try to do it all at once - cut a little, stop, look, cut a little more (maybe from a different angle/side), and so on. Semper Fortis
I really like the Xacto saw FearPeteySodes linked to. It has a nice rigid blade that rarely binds and cuts quickly. But I usually use it only where the width of the stock destroyed by the kerf of the blade isn't important. I have found that to be a problem with arms as they end up noticeably shorter than normal. When I need a super narrow kerf I use a photo etch saw blade similar to this https://www.amazon.com/Tamiya-300074094-Photo-Etched-Craft-Saw/dp/B003JTGZY4. That isn't the brand I use, but it's decent. The downside side is that the saws are extremely fine and therefore take a while to make a cut. As the blades are so narrow they are far less rigid than their bigger brothers. Also, my fingers get a bit cramped as they are so tiny. azn.gamer
I've always just used my Exacto knife or a utility knife with a fresh razor. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/349097-best-way-to-cut-plastic/#findComment-5131102 Share on other sites
