Ahistorian
I want to make true-scaled Sword Brethren out of the new tabard Stormcast, like I did Imperial Fists and Blood Angels out of the old sort. There are 6 men and 4 slighter women in the new box: do you think that with Scout arms and heads the women could be Neophytes? Many moons ago scouts did have power-armoured legs... Sword Brother Adelard
My first instinct is always to avoid plastic scout heads. They're awful, what about Guardsmen? Ahistorian
Well yes, any old iron would do - I was even considering some of the more regal Bretonnian peasant heads. But do you think the bodies would look right? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/349204-sequitor-templars/#findComment-5132834 Share on other sites
Aegir_Einarsson
I use scion heads Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/349204-sequitor-templars/#findComment-5133604 Share on other sites
CantusMaximGloria
I think they could look good since the tabards hide the sculpted plate that looks misplaced on chapters that aren't blood angels and the added height allows them to be more imposing. I would second Aegir's suggestion of using scion heads and perhaps other bits to make the female models into your neophytes. Ahistorian
Hopefully so! That said, I found some spare Scout torsos, so I may just use some Reikland Reiver legs to give them some height - trying to build a list has made me realise how many bodies I'll need. And Astartes can't be Zealot specialists, so I may have to go DW and miss out Neophytes all together!
