Doghouse
I've been looking around for ideas for painting these guys but I have seen a lot of the Predator style decloaking effects that various painters have attempted. I was wondering what are people's thoughts on this painted effect for the shrouding. Tichinde
If I was going to tackle this there are two options I would try: 1: put him on a base with a suitable piece of terrain and paint him to match/blend in with it (tried something similar with a Lictor once, with limited success) 2: or paint him in the process of decloaking (I tried this on an X-Wig Tie Phantom with a simple lightning/electrical pattern then a black star field plenty of tutorials on this) be interested to see your results! Carlson793
Recast in clear resin. To show them cloaking/decloaking, paint portions of the resin as normal, leaving cloaked areas clear, with very thin paint at the transition points.
