lokkorex
So, this is a question i've been pondering for a while: How do you model armoured ceramite on a tank? When i painted my sicaran and predator for ETL this year i decided to look up ceramite and found that the background material describes ceramite as a mix of titanium and ceramic materials, so i decided to paint some panels of my tanks in a off-white scheme to represent this, since titaniumdioxide is white in colour. However doubt has entered my mind as to if this was correct or not. Of course i know i'm free to just paint whatever i like and simply say the legion colours have been put over the armoured ceramite. But how have you represented armoured ceramite on your tanks and vehicles? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/349295-armoured-ceramite/ Share on other sites
PeteySödes
Seems legit to me. When i do damage i do a darker grey underneath the chapter colors. To be fair thats to simulate a lot of outside things like scorch and grime too rather than just the natural color.
