After much consideration I have decided to create an raven guard army, beside my raptors. I may seem strange to focus on two armies with the same CT. They’re going to have different focus; raptors more shooty, RG more assault oriented.

With that said. First biker-marine of many.

And now there is two of them.

Much love to Raptors chapter but my heart belongs to Raven Guard.

I’m thinking about picking up some aggressors to my force, which by the way consists of:

-Shrike

- 2x vanguard veterans w lightningclaws (50%painted)

-1x vanguard veterans w dual chainswords (o%painted)

- 2x assault squads w flamers, plasmapistols

-10 hellblasters (0%painted)

- bikesquad w plasmas,combiplasma (90%done)

-bikesquad w meltas, combimelta (assembled)

-veterans on bikes (0%done)

- 3 tactical squads (assembled)

- captain on bike (assembled)

-storm talon (primed)

- 2 razorbacks (assembled)

The blue of the eyes and the plasma glow is great.

You've got a few issues with mould lines and sprue residual though.

Thank you! Yes I know :( I have never been that much concerned with mouldlines before, but I’m going to focus more on removing them in the future

Sadly they’re so much more obvious with black minis.

I agree 100%

Sadly that gives those of us too lazy for significant edge highlighting (i.e. me) a big problem. The drybrush and wash technique really shows up mould lines and carelessly clipped parts.

I wasn't so anal about cleaning up my models before I started my RG!

Happy about the progress; bike squad and one of the 9 hellblasters is done with 3 more glued on bases and awaiting undercoat.

Im thinking about destroying my marriage a little more by picking up an repulsor. Never liked that model but its growing in me, and it would be Nice to add an option of mobility to the primaris besides sfts (mobility-ish)

I’m using the drybrush and wash method for the armour and edge highlighting everything else. It felt too intimidating to edge all the armour, but it’s manageable with weapons and pouches.

Since my time painting is veeery limited cause of work and my children I dry brush eeeeverything except lenses of all kind and, no that’s about it

Servitor-mode succeeded with almost complete 2 hellblasters, a scoutbiker (resistance is futile, you will lower your shields and be prepared to be assimilated-style face) and a test model for salamanders (my hybris shattered legionish 40k project) question is: is the salamander armour ok-ish? It was super-fast done, which is good.
