Are we better off just bringing 2 Cpt. Slamguinius and welcoming our foes to the Jamguinius? *not all chapters wear red and I respect that. Karhedron Posted August 3, 2018 Share Posted August 3, 2018 He only gives BA's rerolls of 1s to hit so no better than a Captain for us. +1" Advance and Charge is quite nice but if he is on foot, he will struggle to get his aura into range of the units that really want to benefit from it. The +3CPs are nice but for his points you can run a small battalion for +5 CPs. He is a good beatstick but he does not hit much harder than Captain Smash who costs one third the points. Obviously he is much more durable. Overall I don't think that Bobby G brings enough for his points unless you are playing UMs or an army that does not get rerolls of 1s to hit from cheaper sources (Knights spring to mind as one possibility).
