Sea Reaper
I know that Hive Tyrants are all sort of individuals, and when they're recycled or killed their 'soul' goes back to the Hive Mind to be reborn in a new body when needed. Do other Tyranids do this if their experience could be useful? Other Synapse creatures, perhaps Genestealers? Just a curiosity I had. Lord_Caerolion
I would say most of the Synapse creatures would have some element of individuality that could be brought back. Genestealers I would say cannot have this happen though, given the fact that they have their own reproductive cycle independent of the spawnings from the Hive Fleets. Personally, though, I'd just go with the old explanation, that the Hive Mind remembers everything that its synapse-connected creatures experience, and just simply makes use of those memories. This whole "reincarnation" thing was only brought in to justify the Swarmlord, with previous special characters either being just the same creature travelling around, or "test" variations of the more-common species.
