The blurb about Dark Imperium 2 says that Bobby G and Morty are fighting each other in Ultramar space but an even bigger threat is at Terra. It is worded something like that. It makes me think that the Armageddon Ork leader becomes a Prime Ork and is about to hit Terra out of nowhere...and that's when Russ returns.

Here is the blurb from the back of Plague War.

Intent on rebuilding his home realm and using it as base to reconstruct the ravaged stellar empire of mankind, the returned primarch Roboute Guilliman proceeds with his war to drive Mortarion and his Death Guard Traitor Legion from the domain of the Ultramarines.

But when Guilliman brings his brother to battle upon the diseased plains of Parmenio, the intervention of a greater power in their fraternal struggle threatens to upend the Imperial Regent’s understanding of the galaxy, and his place within it.

So no mention of Terra itself. The "greater power" bit is very intriguing though as it is hard to imagine a great power than 2 Primarchs. They are pretty much the most powerful individuals in 40K. It doesn't particularly hint at Russ though to me although I would love to be proved wrong.

Hmm, maybe I’m reading into it too much but, “a greater power in there fraternal struggle” would imply Russ was “greater” than both no?

My guess is something with the emperor himself or papa nurgle. Both are involved in the “fraternal struggle” of theirs and certainly stronger than either of them.

Only way it’s Russ is if by greater power they mean it like greater deamon, as in a big power. Weirdly written either way IMO.

I dont think it will be a primarch, deamon or loyal, or chaos god.

they know of the eldar gods so not them.

they know of the necrons, but probably have never met a ctan

so my guess on what they encounter.

1. A greater Empyrean deamon of the emperor

2. An envoy from BEAST ork Ghaz, humbly requesting to duel both of them.

3. C'tan

4. A norn queen from the hive communitcates or attempts to overcome both primarchs to use their genetic make up to make ultra powerful nids.

5. Robby G is losing the duel and gets knocked down, only to be saved by his long dead brother, Ferrus. Ferrus is a light in flame of hte damned, and is sentient, and tells robby to stand up and fight. both mort and robby are taken aback by ferrus sudden appearance and disappearance

Edit: dropping in from the other thread, no wishlisting over there.

As far as Primaris, I figure the Wolves will end up getting at least:

Intercessors

Hellblasters

Reivers

Maybe Inceptors, the Reivers might turn out to be a maybe.

I might be missing your point, but if not - all the standard Primaris units (except the Apothecary) were specifically okayed as Space Wolves units last summer.

Not to confirm or deny anything but I have also heard rumours of Fulgrim.

Of course it could be the same rumour just going around like Chinese whispers but still.....

I was told last year by a source I trust that after all the 7th edition armies got their codex that Emperor's Children and World Eaters would get their own codex and model support like Death Guard and TS. They didn't say when it would happen but it would come after all the 7th edition armies got their codex.

I had to chuckle. Met a dude in my area who literally believed every rumor out there. Every. Single. Rumor. To the point that he was angry if anyone poured some grains of salt out for it. If all we get are Primaris upgrade kits and a book, I think he'll set his army on fire.

My suggestion is to keep this thread nice and tidy. As stated no wish-listing and involved discussions should occur. OP, you may want to establish guidelines with respect to high confidence vs low confidence rumors. You may also want to add links to already established rumors. Just some thoughts on keeping things happy.

Come on man ... have some faith :smile.:  They already teased GSC models and rogue trader and every specialist game there is. The only thing totaly new is wolves and orks on the horizon ...

i put my expectations at zero.

that way I wont be disappointed.

and will be excited if they do announce stuff

Yeah I am at the same point too Triszin, I've lowered my expectations to nothing but a Primaris LT with a frost axe and the standard Primaris offerings. Its been so long it seems the safest route

Oh man I feel for you...

I for one feel there will be wines named after this release.

Logic dictates caution. Emotion dictates anticipation.

The past track record of releases encourages caution. Love for the Viking aspect of the Wolves keeps me hoping GW will one day realize all the wolf stuff getting to the point where it is at right now, is the presentation issue here for me, at least.

While the Wolves are, "going to love what we get," do realize that, if we do, the other Chapters on the Loyal side might be merited in getting a bit riled over all the bits love the VIth Legion might get soon.
