Guest Posted August 13, 2018 Share Posted August 13, 2018 I think we'll see improvements to units like Wolf Scouts (if they'd give us specialist ammo for them and rejigger the point cost, they'd be just what they need to be), and some sort of improved differentiation between Hunters and Claws. Points shifts. Thunder Wolf Cavalry get a patch. Hunter/Stalker/Talon/Hawk access, maybe LSS. I live in hope that Wolf Tartaros and Cataphractii units will retain access to combi-weapons, but it's not likely. I highly doubt we'll get the Storm Raven, so our dreads are still walking or podding. All that is pretty much what I expect, plus the Stratagems, Chapter Tactic, Relics, etc. What I'd like to see? Plastic Ragnar. I mean, c'mon. Plastic Rune Priest and Wolf Priest. Ranged helfrost weapon options for GH, BC, LF, maybe scouts. Carbines, Cannons, maybe pistols. Plastic cyber wolves kit. Something to bring TWC into usefulness again, yet make them different from Wulfen. I think the trick is a greater movement stat and a small points drop. I'd love to see Wolf Priests able to bring back models, but I think folks are too scared of revenant Wulfen/Lone Wolves for that to happen. I do think this Vigilus War Zone thing has legs. We heard so many rumors of a box including Orks and Black Legion. I'm wondering if there aren't three boxes out there, and things have kept getting conflated because of it. The Nachmund Gauntlet is basically New Cadia, except instead of containing the Eye, it's the only stable bridge to Imperium Nihilus. I smell a campaign coming.... I'd really like to see some sort of hatred towards Thousand Sons. I mean, we've torched each other's homes three times now...there should be something in the rules to reflect that. The two real wishlist items for me would be talismans, tails, and rune weapons getting their old rules, and for more priests to be able to ride TWMs, instead of tooling around behind on a bike. It'll never happen, but eh. Oh, and scout autocannons to return. But now I'm showing my age.... It looks too short to be a bolt rifle.Are you viewing on mobile? Forums seem to be squishing the image. It looks longer on desktop. On mobile. But it’s not just that. Jorin Helm-splitter Posted August 14, 2018 Share Posted August 14, 2018 I'm going to wait and see what is in the codex, but I can't seem to get any hype to continue my wolves. The Primaris WGBL is neat, however I fail to see how to really implement Primaris into my SWs without melee. Also the Primaris are a pain to convert. I am attempting to convert intercessors to use Wulfen weapons to count as Wulfen. Their poses are suited for carrying a gun not shield+hammer. Reivers are easier conversion as they hold their arms apart. It's been almost a year since Primaris release and I was hoping to have more variety of troops for all SMs is all. I think we will see more Primaris soon, either in a gathering storm style campaign or a supplement that they try to sell to every marine player. I don't know if they will try to fit in a close combat specialists though between BA & SW we already have death company, and wulfen. Those are really hard units to match up too. Intercessors, and aggressors both filled in gaps and I would think most primaris units will follow that pattern. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Imperial cults? good pick up Those are grey hunter markings though right? Primaris blood claws would be awesome though. Yes. BC's are yellow and red. You know something? Maybe something wrong with my eyes but I cannot tell whether those guys are Primaris or not. The main close up guy without a helmet and the one behind him looks like he is holding a bolt rifle and the knee pad.... oh yeah, the knee pad is definitely Primaris Mk 10. the further 2 in the background.... could be regular grey hunters as the armour doesn't look like Mk 10. Thankfully I've been painting my Intercesors as though they are Grey Hunters with appropriate markings. Either way, very good artwork, looks like the old and new school are working together.
