Seriously? Both infernal pistols & force swords are lefties?

This is somewhat of a rant, but it just doesn't make sense.

The TS codex says that your sorcerers can arm themselves with a force sword and an inferno bolt pistol.

However, in the exalted sorcerer bolt, you only get 1 inferno bolt pistol and 2 power swords. They should have given us 3 of each, because the only other place to even get an infernal bolt pistol is the pack of 10 rubic marines.

However, the biggest flaw is that the force swords are ALL left handed and the inferno bolt pistols are also ALL left handed.

Like seriously, how in the hell did they miss that?

However, one piece of feedback that I've gotten from writing this rant, is that I've sent the suggestion to GWS that they should try to model EVERY single option themselves that the codex offers when deciding the final frames for each box set, because if they did that, then they wouldn't have overlooked this problem.

That being said, apart from doing some fiddly like destroying some inferno bolters, how has everyone else handled this?

The Exalted Sorcerer kits are intended for the Exalted Sorcerer datasheet, which prescribes a force stave and a bolt pistol. The old Sorcerer model may be found here with the options prescribed to that datasheet. While you could play the Exalted as plain-old Sorcerers, this is not really the purpose of that kit and so it does make some sense to include just those options which work with the Exalted Sorcerer; namely, all right arms contain staves with other options provided on left arms. (That said, having just bought a Grey Knights box to build a Kill Team and a twin power sword Exalted with the Nemesis Falchion bits included therein, it is unfortunate that both power swords in the Exalted kit were left-handed.)

For my own Exalted Sorcerers, I do not generally go out of my way to model the bolt pistols, leaving them assumed. There are actually two in the kit; I believe one bolt pistol is sculpted onto the bird-footed Sorcerer's body bit, and the other of course is held by a mutated arm.

I would handle it by buying AoS boxes for every unit of Tzaangors you purchase, rather than 40k, to maximize the amount of spare swords and other blades you get (both hands). Then, use those for your swords rather than the khopesh style. Still curved, still Tzeentchy, still awesome. I'd personally use one of the Tzaangor greatswords for Seer's Bane. :)

I did a bunch of conversions a couple weeks before our dex dropped. Putting said weapons was easier and turned out cleaner than I expected. All my aspiring and exalted sorcerers have magnetized arms and luckily i had plenty of extras to pick from.

If one does not like weapon swapping and kit bashing it is a pain.
