Master Sheol Posted September 2, 2018 Share Posted September 2, 2018 Is It confirmed that KT:RT box will include a mini-codex for the Elucia Vhane and her men for use in 40k In addition WHQ:BSF will include for sure at least another Rogue Trader model too So what are your expectations for a RT faction in 40K? I guess they will be a faction with limited number of units and will be included in some sort of Imperial Agents codex, alongside Inquisition, Sisters of Silence, Assassins and so on, and it will work better ad allies to main Imperial armies We can see that there are the RT himself plus a Death Cult Assassin, a medic, some kind of techno adept, and militari troppa in form of the so called Voidsmen-at-arm (they seem to include some sort of sergeant with shogun, a guy with a assault cannon like weapon, and some troopers with lasguns) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/350043-rogue-traders-coming/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

Plasmablasts Posted September 2, 2018 Share Posted September 2, 2018 I see that the Death Cultist is described as a “Death Cult Executioner” and carries a single sword. In Shadow Wars: Armageddon, the Inquisition list allowed Death Cult Assassins to choose between twin power swords and Executioner greatswords (currently available to SoS). I could see an eventual plastic DCA kit with options for both. El_Dicko Posted September 4, 2018 Share Posted September 4, 2018 I am super hyped on this, For a long time i considered using inquisition rules to build a Rogue Trader based army. There is even some fluff about pesky inquisitors getting shipped off with a trade permit somewhere. I’m curious to see how they’ll differentiate them. Personally I’m planning to just snag the admech, guard, and scions Start collecting! boxes and build them up with all sorts of head swapping and necromunda bits etc. *edit*oh and some preachers based on the new cawdor models! Seems like a great excuse for a really characterful “imperial soup” army. Maybe even some Marines Errant?
