Squigg's Pups

I'm very very lazy when it comes to painting.

The first army I properly painted was another space wolf army. All with a brush. Never again. I spray paint varying shades of grey into my minis as a base coat and pick out the detail.

In this order of spraying - Black - White - "The Fang" - Army Painter "Wolf Grey".

So as you've probably guessed, I spray the darker colours upwards on the model, and the lighter colours downward on the model.

I have quite a sizeable force so this has saved me entire weeks of my life base coating.

I make extensive use of washes to blackline and bring out the shadow which is another time saver.

I do tend to spent a lot of time painting faces though as this is a part of the hobby I really enjoy. I just can't bring myself to paint grey upon grey upon grey.

We all work hard so why should one have to work hard at a hobby?... Nay I say!

That's my shtick. Now go back to not giving a flying rats bum!

Damn that Dreadnought is unsettling, much better than the original concept and reminiscent of the penitent engine. That dude very much looks like he wants out but considering he probably has stumps instead of arms and legs yes.. you can see why he's frothing with anger.

Frothing with anger because they blew his hips off!

Man without a hip joint is lesser a man so needs his outlets.

Thank you sir!
