Which side benefits more from Terra blowing up during Siege?

Which side (Traitors or Loyalists) benefits more from Vulkan blowing up Terra during the Siege?

(Obviously, every building or piece of equipment on Terra is also blown to smitherins)

Due to the uncertainty of certain people's survivability in this event, it is splitted up into several scenarios:

(You can make your own scenarios if you stated what you think happens)

Scenario 1: EVERYONE DIES (Even the Daemons, Perpetuals and people inside the fleets above)

(Though Khârn, Lucius, Abaddon and Typhus are brought back to life in all scenarios)

Scenario 2: Only those on Terra die (Excluding Daemons and Perpetuals)

Scenario 3: Same as 2 except Horus and Abaddon are also dead

Scenario 4: Same as 2, except only Horus is dead

Scenario 5: Same as 2 with the adition of Vulkan and Omegon

Scenario 6: Same as 2, but all of the Traitor Primarchs survive thanks to intervention of the Chaos Gods (includes Omegon). Vulkan also dies permanently

Scenario 7: Everybody not a Daemon or Perpetual on the planet. Malcador, Knights-Errants/Inquisitors and Custodes are teleported to Titan

Horus isn't planetside is he?

Nope. Neither was Abaddon, N'Kari or Doombreed

Loyalists win all cases because Guilliman shows up to a traitor fleet that just got hit with an exploding planet.

Is it worth the deaths of Dorn, Sigismund, Custodes, Knights-Errants/Inquisitors/Grey Knights and Khan though?

(Not all Traitors were on Terra. And almost three entire Loyalist Legions were on Terra as well)

What about the fact that both Vulkan and the God-Emperor are permanently dead? (Or at least stuck inside the Warp)

The destruction of the Astronomican and the Golden Throne? (There is a Warp Rift where Terra was)

This is another hypothetical "what if...?" scenario posed by Moonreaper666.

However, since everything is purely speculative, there's no point to the discussion. All we're going to see is a bunch of speculation and opinions. And since the basic premise isn't even concrete (i.e., "You can make your own scenarios if you stated what you think happens"), we can't even have a real discussion. It's just going to devolve into a bunch of bickering and complaining about the pointlessness of the whole topic (and I've already hidden a bunch of replies in that vein).

So I'm going to close this topic.

All that said, there's no reason that people can't develop alternate universes to explore these "what if...?" scenarios. We have seen many of these over the years, most famously the unfinished Dornian Heresy. There are several such projects taking place right now in the Special Projects forum. Each of us enjoys the hobby in our own way, and speculating about branches and alternatives is certainly a viable way to flex one's creative muscles (if one is so inclined, that is). If anyone is serious about developing the scenario, feel free to create a discussion in the Special Projects forum to do so.
