Battle Mat for AT

Lord Uglor

Recommended Posts

I'm looking to get a battle mat for my Adeptus Titanicus, but I can't seem to find onr the looks in scale with the titans.  Has anyone had success in finding one?  I don't really care what terrain type (urban, sandy...) just that it's scaled appropriately, and either 4x4 or 4x6.  Any help would be appreciated.

Fr33Dom:  Thanks for that.  Those look pretty good!

Captain Semper:  Thanks for the welcome, though I've been a lurker here since 2003!  Adeptus Titanicus (88) was the second GW product I ever bought, the first being the Rogue Trader rule book many, many years ago. That Titanicus mat might just fit the bill!

Yes, for sure I do. Currently I’m building my second Reaver, I have 2 Warlords, 1 Reaver and one banner of knights done. I’ve got another banner of knights and a third Reaver waiting. Plans are for at least 4 warhounds when they’re released, and then eventually another Warlord, but that one will be a heavily converted model to make it look more like a true beetle back Warlord. I’ll post pics once I get around to taking some good ones. Legio Gryphonicus for the win!

I have multiple mats from deepcut in mousepad and it is a pleasure to play on them.

I player titanicus on the one I have for dropzone commander : http://www.deepcutstudio.com/product/wargames-terrain-mat-cityscape-2/

The roads look similar in size to the forgeworld board. I will try to take pictures next time.

There were a lot of really good mat options in Europe but I didn't want to pay shipping and wait for shipping to the US.  I bought an asphalt 4x4 from Amazon that doesn't look out of place for AT scale.  There's a couple of manhole covers that you just put terrain on top of.

It looks pretty good with some paper buildings.

I also bought this 6x4 one for dual use in 40k because it looks okay for a forge or industrial area.

Captain Semper beat me to it, I've been looking at mat the last week and that is the only one I have seen that advertises itself as Titanicus Scalehttps://www.waylandgames.co.uk/titanicus/56854-4ft-x-6ft-titanicus-theme-mousepad-game-mat. The roads seem to be at the right scale. There are a hell of a lot of mats out there though that really don't have any scale so I would say choose the ones that you like. https://www.waylandgames.co.uk/red-planet/28102-4ft-x-6ft-red-planet-theme-mousepad-games-mat

The top four places I have looked at are:

http://www.tablewar.com/ (One of the big known companies, has a shop in either EU or US)

https://www.waylandgames.co.uk (Normal shop but sells some mats, just make sure they have it in stock as they do sometimes take a while to get your items in)

https://www.gamemat.eu/

https://www.deepcutstudio.com/ (The only one I know that sells the Titanicus designed mat)
