I'm happy that Tac Marines can now have Medic specialist. Not happy Flail of Corruption damage from 2 to 1. Though I do have a few questions, 1: comms specialist - scanner. So now you can't choose the comms guy anymore? 2: with including an intercessor, Intercessor gunner, Intercessor sgt in your team and your leader if he isn't an intercessor, you can have 2 auspex in your kill team? Now it still most likely will force an Injury check but it won't automatically take out whatever you take most of the time. Still a strong weapon but not as broken anymore. The additional specialisations for some teams are great. I'm already thinking about getting an apothecary to use as medic in Kill Team. T'au Drones getting fixed is awesome news for T'au player as well. Now they work like they do in the Codex. To your questions: 1. That's right. 2. Only if you take a Tactical with auspex as well. It says ONE Intercessor, Intercessor Gunner OR Intercessor Sergeant can take an auspex. I felt dirty... which I guess works for Death Guard, but it did seem a bit excessive. Orpheus108 Posted October 13, 2018 Author Share Posted October 13, 2018 I know the flail was overpowered, I didn't like playing against it, loved using it but was overpowered, so I am happy they fixed it, but yes it felt dirty using it to smash through a KT. But not really against those dirty dirty Eldar. I'm looking at getting a tau kill team to play because I love the idea of using drones, so very happy that was fixed. Just looking at what to field as opposed to playing what looks cool, but playing something that looks cool is half the game Losing the puck yourself if your comms is a bit of a downer, but fair enough. And now having 2 auspex in an astartes KT is just great, I use a mix of tac marines and Intercessor, still gotta get some reivers yet. So looking at a apothecary marine for a medic aswell now.
