Kierdale
Does anyone have a squiggoth or gargantuan squiggoth? About how big are they? I wondered if any of the Seraphon dinos might be substitutable, with a built-up Howdah...or even two dinos with a structure on/between them? EDIT: I checked myself... YouTube is a wonderful thing! This thread this turns from question into source :) Gargantuan Squiggoth: 13” long 8” high to top of the howdah 6” high to the top of the shoulder 5” wide at the shoulders Normal Squggoth: 6.25” long 4.35” high to the top of the howdah 3” wide at the front paws And the dimensions of a Gorka/Morkanaut: Height 13cm Width 15.5cm Length 12cm Now to search for measurements of those Dinos (Seraphon ones as I want to keep it all GW if I do ever make one)... Troglodon/Carnosaur: L:24cm = 9.4” W:9.5cm = 3.7” H:16cm = 6.3” Dread saurian: Dread Saurian, here it is: “It's 14inches from his head to the furthest part of his tail. Bear in mind it bends round so straightened out would be longer. His tallest spike is 7 inches from the ground. His body is about 3 inches thick at it's thickest. Back leg is 4 inches tall, front is 3inches. Head is 3 inches long and 1.5 inches wide.” Stegadon (with Howdah and antennas) H,L,W: 12cm, 14cm, 6cm = 4.72”, 5.5”, 2.4” Bastiladon with Solar Engine: H,L,W: 8cm, 14cm, 7cm = 3.1”, 5.5”, 2.8” Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/350659-squiggoth-gorkamorkanaut-counts-as-and-size/ Share on other sites
Krakendoomcool
Cheers Kierdale. As I read the title I was reminded of an exhaustive list of all Ork vehicle sizes that someone has compiled for this reason. Kierdale
You’re welcome. A thought: since in 8th edition vehicle facings don’t matter, the length and width of a counts-as-whatever are interchangeable. So if I get two Bastiladons and build a ruddy big howdah-castle stop/between them, so it’s 13” wise, 5.5” long and 8” to the top of the monstrosity(:D) it could A. be’ a Gargantuan Squiggoth. B. be a huge centrepiece model. Kierdale
No time soon. I’d need to clear space for something 13”x5.5”x8”. But perhaps sometime. I reckon a Stompa would make for a handy howdah, a ruined one salvaged as an idol on lashed together metal girders Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/350659-squiggoth-gorkamorkanaut-counts-as-and-size/#findComment-5175634 Share on other sites
Kierdale
Sounds good :tu: Armament is two twin big shootas and two supa-lobbas (which can be replaced with kill kannons or big zappas), and up to four big shootas. Quite the walking fortress! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/350659-squiggoth-gorkamorkanaut-counts-as-and-size/#findComment-5175831 Share on other sites
