stuka06
For a local tournament, I painted these 2 Warglaives. They are unbound from any other of my projects, so I was able to experiment with new techniques and color schemes. I had a lot of fun trying out things like chipping medium, oil washes and pigments. Since they are one offs, I had no special issues like trying to prepare specific solor schemes or free hands. I had no expectations for myself. A strangely rare feeling between legion and battle company building... :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/350707-armiger-warglaives/ Share on other sites

stuka06
Awesome work, especially the lenses. Thank you Gorgeous. How do you do the weathering? Thanks man I base coated the armor panels with army painter brown spray. Then I applied Vallejo chipping medium. Then I applied the blue/beige. with water you activate the chipping medium and I was able to easily scratch off parts of the paint. Then I highlighted underneath the brown bits and finished up with Ammo by Mig streaking effect. It might seem like a lot of steps, but honestly, it's super easy Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/350707-armiger-warglaives/#findComment-5177033 Share on other sites
