Returning from the warp

Recommended Posts

Greetings!

Lot of things happened since I walked this forums - it has been nearly two years. In the meantime I sold most of my armies, but kept a core with which I'm planning to begin anew. Interested mostly in Horus Heresy, but the new shiny things draw me again closer to 40k aswell. I was always mostly a collector not a player, yet there are some friend with whom I got the chance every now and then to play some games.

I have a large Iron Hands force, some Knights from which I want to build an army, and a very small Sons of Horus contingent. I'm planning to expand these armies even further (especially the SoH and the Knights), and maybe even start a new 40k army to.

Adeptus Titanicus is the other new game system I fell in love in an instant, because of big stompy robots walking the battlefield. I haven't bought anything because I need to figure out which Legion(s) to pick up but soon it will be definitely another project for me.

Thank you all for the reacceptance into your ranks!

Welcome back to the B&C :smile.:

... If I may, you mention that you were here before. Was there something wrong with your previous account?

Well, yes. I was literally inactive for a couple of time, and then I tried to sign in again, but it haven't worked out. I tried to request a new password, but the forum didn't send the mail on my request. Then I didn't tried it anymore. Last weekend I tried it again that way, but it was still the same, nothing came on my request. I thought that the previous account was deleted due to my inactivity.

Welcome back Brother Dread….. sounds like you still have some great core pieces to build an awesome army around. It's a good time for your return, what with the introduction of the Primaris and all of the cool new mini games and sets. Hope you stick around for a good long time:yes:

Thank you! Yes, I think it is a great time, as the GW-train is running high speed with all the new stuff that comes every week.

I don't know, if I like the Primaris Marines. They are interesting and nice sculpts, but their line is not nearly fully fleshed out, and my old marines would look terrible beside them because of the size difference. Good thing, that my SM are exclusively Horus Heresy related, so won't mix them :smile.:
