Joe
Hey all. I'm pretty much looking for chains that would be suitable for use on Space Marines. I've done some digging myself, but none of the ones I can find are small enough. Any thoughts? Aqui
Not sure if the items in this link are of a suitable size or not. If not then perhaps trying at similar sites might produce something more suitable :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/350804-small-modelling-chains-uk/#findComment-5179130 Share on other sites
Ranulf
I use: http://www.greenstuffworld.com/en/clasps-and-chains/27-hobby-chain-15-mm.html?search_query=chain&results=32 I find that 1.5mm is right scale for most things, most hobby stores stock something similar. -Ran Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/350804-small-modelling-chains-uk/#findComment-5179142 Share on other sites
Arkhanist
Greenstuffworld are very good (I buy semi-regularly as they have a lot of unique stuff) but they are based in Spain so shipping can take a few days. Another alternative is Zinge Industries. They have standard 1.5mm metal chain, or they also do a resin flexible 'chain' that has a wire in it, so you can cut and glue it and it will stay in place. Ideal if you want to hang it over a gap, works the same way as their poseable wrapped wire and ammo belts. Sword Brother Adelard
Go to a tacky horrible jewellery shop? Like Claire's Accessories they sell cheap plastic chain jewellery. PeteySödes
Hobby shops that sell model trains are always a good bet. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/350804-small-modelling-chains-uk/#findComment-5179192 Share on other sites
