Aggressors

Recommended Posts

I havent seen any but i expect the challenge is the semi mono pose issues with how interconnected everything is. I'd encourage you to take the plunge though and get choppin' to make what your imagining! If you need some ideas for ammo belts these work great:

I plan to make some but will likely just to some dramatic reposing. That will for sure require the aforementioned choppin'.

The Scibor models are great aren't they?

Marneus Calgar's arms come to mind as the easiest option, but that would be very expensive.

I would look at a little bit of green stuff, clipped down bolters and Terminator power fists from the Tartaros pattern box as it contains both left and right handed fists. You also go down the GK route and model the bolters on the knuckles.

It's a shame chain fists are only left handed as those would make a good base for converting underslung bolters.

I'm about to start modelling some Aggressors. I saw a conversion on here of some with normal power fists on one arm and then the Inceptor assault bolters on the other, with GK Terminator heads. Think I'm going to go down that route with mine.

Have you used these previously, as I found these again earlier today after forgetting about them? I’m curious what the “flexible” resin is like? It sounds kind of rubbery, like the plastic hero clix are made out of, and I worry about paint chipping and flaking off. I desperately hope I am wrong, as I want to make some landspeeders and Talonmasters for my Ravenwing, but don’t like the ammo feeds on the heavy bolters as I feel like they seem weedy for the bore size of the gun, and were sculpted in a time where they were unable to achieve what they can now, and don’t look remotely like bullets.

It's slightly bendy with a wire core so it holds the shape. I haven't used the ammo feeds but have used the cabling parts and they are both durable and I haven't had chipping issues.

As long as your using acrylics you shouldn't have issues. I haven't had mini paint damage in any significant way since the days of pewter so i suspect its not an issue.

Thanks for that, I guess I’ll order some in the next week or two and try them out
