Interceptor & Drop Pods

Just checking this...

But if you use interceptor against a unit arriving via a normal Legion Drop Pod or Dreadnought Drop Pod, you can only shoot the pod as this is the unit that deep strikes near the unit with interceptor, correct?

But, the interceptor shots take place before the contents of the pod disembark, so that if the pod explodes they could suffer damage.

The same would be true for a Dreadnought Drop pod, except that it would have Shrouded from the Burning Retro's rule.

Is this right?

Interceptor occurs at the end of the Movement phase against one unit that has arrived from Reserve within its range and line of sight.

As the cargo and the Pod both arrived from Reserve, you're free to shoot whichever following all and any necessary rules (so yes, Burning Retros is active).
