Dual Wielding Pistols

I've seen a few things on different sites saying that if a model is dual wielding pistols that it can fire both in the shooting phase. I know we can't fire a pistol if we've fired a non-pistol weapon, but can we actually shoot both pistols if equipped or are we only able to choose one of the equipped pistols? 

 

Can some one point me to where this is explained in the rules so I can reference it?

Choose a ranged weapon (page 179) and more pertinently, the section on pistols (page 180) in the BRB gives you the answer :tu:

Thanks, so it appears that yes, I can dual wield pistols and fire both of them

 

pg. 179 "...it can shoot all of them..."

pg. 180 "..it can either shoot with it's pistol(s) or..."

 

Did I read/interpret that correctly?

Makes plasma pistols more worthwhile IMO.

Yeah it does, I'm digging through my bits box right now to see if I have enough spare parts to make a Vanguard Veteran Squad with dual plasma pistols.

be pretty naff if they couldnt... here pay for 2 inferno pistols (range 6") @ 12 points each but only ever use one!
