Dealing with -1 modifiers?

Hey Wassa,

If you're not adverse to/restricted from using Forge World models, and have the cash to spare you could get some defense searchlights? They come in units of 1-3 and allow one friendly regiment unit to add 1 to their hit rolls. Of course, those lights will be high priority targets, which cannot move. So expect them to get heavily focused.

Huh, just read the rules in the index.. it doesn't say that you can't stack the effects of additional searchlights. So does that mean you can light up an opponent's units with guard units hitting on 2's? Does anyone know if this has been disallowed by chapter approved or FAQ?

Hellhounds are the best bet against Eldar. Especially if you can suicide them and take more with you when they do die :)

The other is the tried and tested weight of fire method. Just use so many lasguns that the law of averages kills off their infantry. It’s not fun and is time consuming but as it currently stands there’s not much else you can do against Eldar.

My tip is if you use Cadia use a hellhound or sentinal with flamer to force a wound on a high priotity Target and then use the Overlapping Field of Fire to negate that -1 to hit.

Its quite interesting how often this questions comms up in so many diffrent forums.
