Help against Harlequins

Hi guys

 

Going up againist a 1k list previous general list i used got tabled in turn 3

 

Can not remember all the units he had but

 

2 bikes

3 open top flyers

3 troops

2 sniper guys

1 psyker

1 warlord captain type person reroll hit rolls of 1

 

Any body have any experience or lists that would do well against do not have primaris he also tabled a nids list as well

If he didn’t spam skyweavers you got off light. People are likely sick of me beating this particular drum but stormhawks wreck eldar (except stupid hemlocks). Sicaran battle tanks are always a good choice there too. That said if they bring more skyweavers your armor is going to get shredded.

 

I haven’t tested it but I feel like this could actually be a decent use case for Twolves. Enough attacks the get through invul with the str to do the job, fast enough to not get juked and stay the hell away from the death jester.

Yeah think they might have been the bike ones only used 2 biggist one was his snipers one shotted my wolf priest of the field first turn with his strategums

Hawks would be great for that, flyers in general are awesome for “sniping“ characters. Other than that though I don’t have a great answer for jesters.

Not sure if this can work at 1000 points, but a couple of rune priest with smite, living lightning and tempest wrath/fury of freki and geki should be able to decimate a squad of harlies to manageable numbers. Unlike Custodes, I think Harly troops have mostly one wound except for the bikes. If he runs small squads, then the likelihood of living lightning "bouncing" will be higher.
