Chiwie
In 1998 I stumbled on a box of space marines while on holiday. After some convincing i managed to get a hold of them and the 3rd codex. This kicked started my 20 year hobby journey, where I have met a ton of good mates and have had some great times. I've spent this year figuring out how to celebrate this and then stumbled on the models from my first box of marines from 1998. I then went and scoured ebay for a shrink wrapped 1998 era combat squad. A few weeks later this happened, let me present the Australius Chapter of Adeptus Astartes If you would like to know more and see more photos, I wrote 3 parts of wordy-words on the process of reliving my childhood on the goonhammer blog. Part 0: Where I dissect how and why 10 year old me screwed up on such a large scale. Part 1: I put the box together and rant about how plastic tech has progressed Part 2: I paint the marines and try not to panic Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/351469-20-years-of-hobby-progress-combat-squads-from-1998-to-2018/ Share on other sites
