Warmasterwillie
Hi guys, I’ve had a break from the hobby for a awhile, moved house second child getting older becoming more demanding time wise kind of put a stop to it. But I’ve decide to plung in the hobby again and I’m really excited to work at a scale I’ve never done before and am bristling with scratch build ideas for bases. (Can only build the bases as I’m still waiting for my titans to be delivered). I’ve stalked the formum and the work on here is fantastic, but I haven’t picked a copy up of the rules yet and was wondering what there was in the way of custome legion rules? I’m not sure what legion to paint but I’m fairly sure I’ll make up my own with it’s own colour scheme. Will this affect the rules greatly when I come to starting playing? As ever guys thanks in advance and keep posting, the work on here is beautiful! Captain Semper
Hi Warmasterwillie, good to see more people joining the AT craziness! :D Unfortunately we cannot just reprint the rules here due to IP issues but having said that, only two Legios have specific rules at the moment - Gryphonicus and Tempestus. Undoubtedly more will become available when the Titandeath expansion comes out early next year. My advice is, don’t choose a Legio based on the rules, but with the colour scheme, the background and your own creativity. Besides, you can always adopt the rules of any Legio for specific games, even if the colour scheme does not conform to said Legio’s standard. Besides, the specific rules are not only advantages but also limitations... Let us know what sort of Legio will you be going after, be it official or DIY! :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/352091-advice-needed-for-titan-noob/#findComment-5206074 Share on other sites
Fajita Fan
There's a holiday bundle up with a Warlord, a reaver, and two Warhounds that's a great deal. I really kick myself for jumping in early because I'd have bought two of those bundles and saved...a bundle. https://www.games-workshop.com/en-US/Adeptus-Titanicus-Titan-Battlegroup-2018 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/352091-advice-needed-for-titan-noob/#findComment-5206112 Share on other sites

As for a specific legion I’m not sure, fulff wise I’m thinking traitor possibly death guard colouring and weather style as that’s how I enjoy painting. Thinking of having death guard v blood Angel troops on the bases. There's a holiday bundle up with a Warlord, a reaver, and two Warhounds that's a great deal. Thinking starting with the reaver lead maniple to start with and build up from there Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/352091-advice-needed-for-titan-noob/#findComment-5206152 Share on other sites
Brother Dallo
Pretty much what these guys said already. 4chan gives a good breakdown on Titan rules if you fancy a nosy there. Otherwise, welcome to the forum and we look forward to seeing what you post when your Titans show up. And I don’t care what anyone says, scratch building bases is half the fun of AT. :p Dallo Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/352091-advice-needed-for-titan-noob/#findComment-5206156 Share on other sites
