Brother Christopher
I'm considering getting the Citadel Painting Handle for convenience and would like to ask people who actually have experience with it: is the thing strong enough to firmly hold the weight of pewter miniatures such as Vanguard Veterans or SM characters in Terminator armour? Or is it only good for plastic/resin? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/352159-citadel-painting-handle-will-it-hold-metal-miniatures/ Share on other sites
Arkhanist
I've had a pewter lemartes in it recently who is pretty top heavy and it held him no problem. You do have to make sure the jaws have a firm grip on the base - the springs are pretty strong so you do need to wrestle it a bit to make sure the base is properly seated and not only halfway held. Brother Christopher
Thank you for the fast response. This clears up my doubts. Lemartes-weight is about as heavy as the miniatures I have to paint are. Grotsmasha
Side note, the new grippy arms can be unscrewed from the small one and attached to the large one too :tu: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/352159-citadel-painting-handle-will-it-hold-metal-miniatures/#findComment-5208750 Share on other sites
