Brad_hutcho
Sorry if dumb question, but does the sergeant count towards the squad number of marines here for special weapons? In other words, if it's a full squad of 20 assault marines (or any other unit with similar rules), does that mean I could take 4 power axes on standard marine? And then give the sarge his own power axe too equaling 5 in the unit. Brad_hutcho
Sarge is separate? I'm assuming the yes from Unknown Legionnaire is that yes, the sarge counts for squad numbers and all the Qs I posed Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/352195-assault-marines-special-weapons/#findComment-5213531 Share on other sites
Ghorgul
Sarge is separate? I'm assuming the yes from Unknown Legionnaire is that yes, the sarge counts for squad numbers and all the Qs I posed It should count, yes. I mean, you always have to have Sarge in the unit, it's not optional. So makes sense that it would count to squad numbers. Cadmus Tyro
For me, it’s all in the wording. “For every five models.....”, so the sergeant counts towards the number of models for the purposes of calculating the number of power weapons you can take. But, also has access to his own wargear options in addition to what is available to the squad. So, a ten man unit can take two power weapons on regular dudes and one on the sergeant. LtDan
Every five. So in a 20 man squad you get 4. But the srg also has the option so total 5.
