dracpanzer
Ran a game last night against Chaos Knights. Got my Repentia in on a Knight Paladin turn two after he siezed on me (my luck is so bad with initiative) while my OoBR Canoness and Celestine were on a Castellan 7.5" away. Six Repentia in a rhino with the Canoness, Mistress, Dialogus and a Preacher. (No slots taken up by "*" rule kind of sucks). 319 pts total I think for the one mech Repentia Vanguard det. Charged the Paladin with a Sororitas squad as it was the only option to soak overwatch and everyone made it in. Celestine failed the Passion but got the Castellan down to 9 wounds. I nominated the OoBR Canoness to go next, she failed some wounds, he made one save and she cleaved its skull in. Knight player rolls a 1 and a 6 to explode. Rolls the same for distance. Knocks Celestine for one, left two Repressors, two Canonesses, the Mistress, Dialogus as well as Uriah and a Preacher smoking, battered but still in the fight. He then rolled for the Repentia and got a 6 wiping the entire squad before they got to draw blood. The Paladin was still .5" away and quickly crushed the BSS squad that soaked its overwatch. I was ahead in points and the game wasn't in doubt. But the Canoness nuked her Repentias charge. We rolled the dice just to see and his Knight would have taken 20 wounds by our dice, then put its attacks in to the overwatch soak BSS to avoid MW itself to death on Martyrs blood. As it was, the explosion left him with the Paladin running away to clear an objective of some Seraphim (OoSR overwatch failing me this time with those Inferno pistols) then claim it. My last Dominion squad, two battered Canonesses and Celestine took out his warlord Knight the next round. Fun game. Won 8-6 in Aerial Supply scenario. With my opponent siezing, I stayed huddled up for a 4++ and did not Vanguard my Doms. His entire round of shooting destroyed one Repressor and put three wounds on two others while the Castellan snuiped Celestibe down to 1 wound. Got the AoF off to heal her for three and used Vessels to bring the Repressors back to full, Celestine to 4 and pick up a Dominion who didn't get out of her wrecked Repressor. They weathered the storm fairly well considering the firepower they were up against. Next turn I healed Celestine to full without Vessel and those were the only two AoF I was able to use successfully the entire game. The Table: The Forces: Sisters 1st Turn Moves: Repressor survives Castellan Laser thingie. Start of Sisters Turn Two: Seraphim DS to get an objective. This is the point that put me ahead for the game. Repentia and OoBR Canoness ready to assault. Canoness impales the Castellan who promptly nukes. Celestine and a Canoness close in on the Chaos Knight Warlord.
