Greetings All,

 

Well waiting to open my BSF box Christmas day and get stuck in to the goodies, painting them all up.

 

In was happy that GW released the BSF guys for KT and was wondering those that have their sets have used them in a game or 2.

 

Which faction do you chose?

Do you mix them (Imperial) with Rogue Trader models aswell?

Do you run the Servants of the Abyss with other chaos models, now that we can run traitor guardsman instead of cultists.

Or even in open play games and mix them up with any other Imperial guys.

How does Chaos fair either on their own or with others?

 

At higher point games, with running a Commander along side the team, using a Rogue Trader team can be very devastating, since some of the models have the special rule Special Retainer, which can give a team a large number of specialists.

 

And please feel free to add your teams you run or thinking of wanting to run.

 

For a fun game, I'd like to run Death Watch with a few Rogue Trader guys and maybe Taddeus and Pious.

 

I for one am looking forward to using Rein & Raus, added to my AM, as infind that with BSF, AM has gotten a big boost in models.

I don't have BSF, but I did buy some of the Chaos stuff, precisely to run a Kill Team using the Servants of the Abyss rules.  They'll be painted in my Legion of Taurus colours; I'm doing them as a Battle Forged KT, so I've got:

 

- 2 Chaos Marines (one's a Veteran)

- 4 Beastmen

- 1 Traitor Guard Sergeant (the Leader)

- 2 Traitor Guard Gunners (with Flamers, one's a Demolitions Specialist)

- 5 Traitor Guardsmen (I think I made one a Combat Specialist, if not then it's one of the Beastmen!)

 

I need to get the Chaos Lord (Obsidius?) to use as the leader, but I plan to use them alongside a Cultist-heavy Kill Team using the regular Heretic Astartes list/rules.
